HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2009

Class Sessions

We thank all of our speakers for their support and hard work in helping to make FireShowsReno a success with our educational programs.

We look forward to offering a much larger program for 2010 to include Hands-On Sessions, Leadership, EMS, Haz-Mat, Suppression, and Wildland.
Exhibit Hall

Opening the Exhibit Hall this year was a great honor in bringing this well respected fire show back to Reno.

Chief Johnson and his team had many people in tears with his Chili for two reasons  The sheer joy of enjoying a bowl of Chili on a cool Reno evening with friends and colleagues  -- and  because of how spicy hot his winning creation was to the tastebuds.

We thank the Northern Nevada Firematics association for their generosity of showcasing a small collection of their antique engines and cars.  They were a stunning reminder of our fire roots as they were displayed around the perimeter of the show floow
